The fund was set up by the parents of William, a promising goalkeeper who was run over at the age 16. It aims to offer free access to quality Goalkeeping sessions delivered by FA Qualified coaches in conjunction with Montague and North Fenham boys club and the Newcastle Football Development Scheme.

Brief History

The Goalkeeping Fund is in memory of William Hunter who sadly was killed in a road accident in 2002. William, who was 16 years old at the time, was the Montagu & North Fenham Boys Club Under 17's Goalkeeper.
